Govt. Degree College Billawar Bags 8 Medals Including Three Gold In Annual Inter-collegiate Athletic Sports Meet

Students of GDC Billawar bag 8 medals including 3 Gold,2 Silver & 3 bronze in the recently concluded Annual inter-collegiate Athletics Sports Meet held at university of Jammu. Ms. Akriti Sharma, Ms priya Sharma & Mohd Arjun brought Gold medals each in 1500m, 5000m & 800 m running events respectively. Whereas Ms. Veena Devi & ms. Akriti Sharma brought silver medals each in 1500m &100m running event respectively. The students who brought 3 bronze medals Ms. Veena devi, Mohd Arjun & Mr. Surjit kumar who took part in 1500m, 400 m running & high jump evens respectively.
Principal of the college Prof. Jugal Kishore Sharma appreciated the students who brought laurels to the college by winning 8 medals including 3 Gold under the supervision & motivation of physical Director Mr. Ravi Kumar .
