ISM Department In Collaboration With NSS And NCC Units Of GDC Billawar Organized A Free Medical Check-up Camp On 22/09/2021

Under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsavâ€, ISM Department in collaboration with NSS and NCC units of GDC Billawar organized a free medical check-up camp for the students and teachers of the college. The camp was inaugurated by the Principal, Prof. Anita Jamwal in which she aware students about the benefits of Ayurvedic medicines and to follow a healthy life style and take a balanced diet, which is vital for strong immunity.
Lecture was delivered by Dr. Sabitya Thakur and Dr. Bhanu Priya on the importance of immunity and female health issues. A team of doctors including Dr. Sabitya Thakur and Dr. Bhanu Priya from ISM department under the supervision of Dr. Mohan Singh, Director ISM (AYUSH) and DAO, Dr. Ajay Tikko, conducted free consultations and checkups in general health for the students and teachers. Free medicines, especially immunity enhancing were distributed among the students and teachers. The camp culminated with the vote of thanks by Principal to the staff of ISM Department. The camp was organized by Prof. Yash Paul, NSS PO, Assistant Prof. Raman Kumar NCC CT, Assistant Prof. Dr. Shiv Kumar Khajuria and Assistant Prof. Dr. Sunil Dutt under the overall supervision of Principal, Prof. Anita Jamwal.
